Knights of the Round Table
Ok, ok, so it’s not exactly King Arthur, but it was pretty awesome nonetheless. In fact, the round table event I just returned from tonight (Thursday, May 24th) was more awesome than its medevil predecessor because this round table was a group of 12 pastors who are helping to change the world for Christ!
I’m talking about the last 24 hours hosted by Perry Noble at Newspring church. Perry invited a dozen pastors from like-minded churches all over the country to join together and share our hearts, hurts and hassles over the last year or so, as well as our vision for where we believe God is taking our churches in the near future.
Here’s a shot of some of the pastors with Perry in the middle. He’s just a little guy of about 6 foot 6 inches! That’s why I’m not in the picture. I didn’t want them to feel small.
I really haven’t had many opportunities like this as a pastor. This was great and I hope it’s just the beginning of many more like it!
Thanks, Perry and Newspring church for taking the time and effort to roll out the red carpet! I hope to return the favor some day!
Here are a few more dudes I met who are really tearing it up for Christ!

Awesome! Jesus was all about relationships. It is so powerful and awe-inspiring to see you and other pastors getting together. I bet you Satan hated every minute of it.
Don’t hope for more get togethers. Insist on them!

We’ re glad to hear that there is a place for Pastor’s to go to pray, discuss, encourage and support one another. When Steve was pastoring churches way back when, he never had the support that all pastors really need! It’s crucial for our leaders to have that in their lives! It can be too easy to burn out. Pastor’s are human too!
We know that the time with Perry Noble and all of the other pastors was a great “pick me up” and you need that Rob! It recharges, it encourages, and is spiritually uplifting. It’s good for your family as well! Not just your church family but Michelle and the kids.
We hope you have many more opportunities like that. So glad that our pastor takes time to get away with his family to do fun things, to go away to spend personal time with God and to go and spend time with other pastor’s/woship leaders/church leaders who truly understand the world of a “shephard”.
Your flock is grateful that you want to go on this journey with us!
Be blessed!

Looks like some new friedns. I had the pleasure of attending New Springs conference a few months ago. Perry had to see some of the same AMAZING things in you Rob that we here at Southbrook get every weekend.
Perry reminded us to always pray for our leader, he even helped us do that. It was very touching. We are blessed that God sent you to lead us. Rock on Rob.
