Movie Night @ the Brook
Meet me at the Drive in!
Remember the old drive in movies?
We’d pile in cars and trucks, head for the outdoor, vehicular amphitheater and hang out with all our friends.
We might even, occasionally, catch a decent movie.
It was a blast.
Whatever happened to them anyway?
You probably don’t remember because you usually rode in the trunk to save on costs!
Well they’re back baby! Minus the vehicle part anyway.
This Friday evening at dusk,
There will be food and drinks as well, so bring a blanket, chairs and yourselves.

Ok…so i see Rob that you have some pictures of the older kids…but let us not forget the Bumblebees…Butterflies…Giraffes…Zebras…Elephants (I hope i didnt forget any!). Last night we were all crammed in that music room singing our hearts out! We have been working on our “Gensis 1 1″ song very hard! We have some smart cookies in our groups i know that. My favorite statement so far this week has been in my group…when asked if we don’t recycle and keep the earth clean for god what will happen…Jack stated “It will smell like a 100 dogs got together and tooted.” Gotta love that..out of the mouths of babes!
Last night was even more impressive than the first night … what a great thing it is to be in the sanctuary while all these kids are singing … the words for “Undignified” … and REALLY doing it in a way that is truely undignified (according to the world) … all for the LORD! And in the front of the room is Dee … being so undignified just to praise the LORD and to teach the kids it is GREAT to be undignified while you praise the LORD! AMAZING … I CAN NOT WAIT TO SING AND DANCE TONIGHT!
