Busting at the seams with New Converts!

CIMG1985

What an awesome weekend at Southbrook Church! We’ll save the best for last.

First of all, we we’re busting at the seams this weekend with tons and tons of people and crowd control got a little but challenging!

Who’s responsible for this!

I said, who’s responsible for this?!

Oh, ah, I guess the challenging part would be me.  I went a tad long. But the crowds were all courtesy of God. When Jesus shows up, it attracts a crowd!

Alright, I may have sugarcoated my role in the ‘talk your ear off’ category…

Ok, ok, so I may have set new records for long windedness, but it was worth it I tell you!

48 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ and came forward to receive their Bibles and write their names in history! The place was electric!

You know, sometimes being a pastor can be challenging, but guess what? Weekends like this make you forget all about that stuff.

God is so good!

No, GREAT!

Here’s some pictures, enjoy!

Definately an awesome weekend. I know Rob a few days ago you had a post about a family who left Southbrook. Well all I have to say with weekends at Southbrook like these, you can’t let that get you down. We are doing good work here, I know it, my family knows it and all those people in the pictures above know it. Just keep focusing on that. We might not win them all but we can certainly keep trying!

Rob I don’t know if your aware or not but there is a web site for the most innovative churches of 2008. Southbrook is currently # 1. God is definitely working in the church, through the members and exploding the Pastors with such a Blessing it is hard to fathom. Keep up the vision. http://www.squidoo.com/innovativechurches2008/
We Love you and everything about Southbrook Church.
Thank You for being a great Teacher of Christ Jesus and for Christ Jesus

Rob;

Do not worry about going long … we went long in Childrens Church this week too … Of course David and I knew you were a bit long winded this weekend … so we made sure to get our point across to the kids! They had a great time laughing at David and I and learning about Queen Esther! Have at it … take all the time you need … if an extra minute or two will save another soul … then talk all the time you want!

In HIS Service,
Mark
