Incredibly valuable secret stuff!
Ok, did that get your attention?
Good.
People ask me how the old blog is doing from time to time, so here it is in a nutshell.
Pretty good…I guess.
What’s good?
Since we started (officially, in March of this year — though I had a short stint on blogger before launching robsingleton.net) we’ve grown from an average of 50 hits a day the first month to a height of about 800 hits a day more recently. My hope is that it will continue to grow in influence and readership so that I can begin to really use it as an evangelistic tool as well.
So, in honor of crossing the halfway point, here is a little insight into what it takes to have a successful blog. Study carefully if you really desire to hit the blogger big times!
Oh, and don’t say I never gave you anything!

Rob, Thanks for checking out my blog yesterday. As you can see, I’m just getting started but really enjoy it. It’s a great way to get what God is telling me each day written down. I’m planning on putting more parenting teens and teen topics on it because that’s what most of my writing and teaching is geared towards. Thanks for the encouragement.

Rob,Just a question for you , not blog related.Are we doing baptism on the 28th ? I thought you mentioned it a while ago , but haven’t heard anything since.One more question , if so will the pool be heated?Thanks for all you do.

Hey Bob, we are still planning on having a baptism that day and the pool IS heated (not that we’d need it with the weather we’ve been having!

Rob, just thought I’d let you know that I’ve never blogged before until, that is, I started reading your Blog. I’m the “quiet” type who usually just sits back and listens/observes and occasionaly I give my “two cents”. I wanted to say that the blog is a great idea and it is definitely a way to make things more relevant today. And it is a great way to plant a seed in those that don’t have a realtionship with Jesus Christ or, in my case, give me that daily inspiration I need to remember why we’re here.
My husband is not a Christ follower and occasionaly I catch him peeking in on what you have to say. So, I definetly had to say, thank-you! Keep up the blogging! I am praying he keeps up reading what you have to say.
P.S. I’m looking forward to Service under the tent on the 28th!
