Surprise Revealed!
…for the 3 people in North Carolina who haven’t yet figured it out.
Drum Roll Pl
ease, “Dadalutdadalutdadalut…”
SARA & KATI SCOTT won the 2007 YCI Battle of the Bands competition on October 27th, 2007.
WOW! What does that mean?
It means that out of the 77 million bands that entered (give or take a million) one of our own has placed first in North Carolinas top Christian radio station’s talent search.
We are thrilled that these two talented ladies did such a great job and
we need your support! But NOT YET!
Sorry, had to get your attention, because this part is very important. —> For whatever reason, 91.9 is delayed in airing the interview with Sara (it will probably go next week) so we do not want you to unleash the Southbrook deluge just yet. It might even air today, if not, than I would think for sure the first half of next week. Regardless, we need to wait before we start calling in to request what will undoubtedly be the most popular song they’ve had in years!
Ok? So… CHILLAX! Take a deep breath and wait. On the count of three, 1, 2, NO, Just Kidding! You really need to wait. I will give the green light on this blog. Promise. When I do, here’s what you do…
Call or e-mail New Life 91.9 and request “Your Love does no Wrong”

WOW…..we visit Southbrook whenever we come to Monroe to see our daughter and family (they attend) and were there the Sunday that you all had the CD’s for sale. I purchased two sets, one for me and one for my best friend for her birthday. On the way home (6 hour drive) I listed to both CD’s (Return and Gal Friday) and worshiped all the way. I told my husband that particular song will surpass Hillsongs Shout to the Lord. The Return CD is continuously playing in my mind. I can not listen to that song without going into TOTAL WORSHIP and tears flowing. I have been wanting to call my local station and see if their copyright license would allow them airtime for the CD. Now I know I will call them and see if they can play the song.
Blessings to all.

What does the YCI stand for? And CONGRATULATIONS! That’s what happens when your heart is truly into worship.
Chris Hogan says:
We love Sara & Kati’s hearts. They love the Lord and it shows in everything they do. It’ll be fun to hear them on the radio after years of hearing them thru our ipods. It’s exciting! I can’t wait to hear what they record with the recording time they won. We’re sending the Return CD to our friends in Germany this week as an early Christmas present.

Congratulations to Two Awesome Girls! I am so proud of you both! It has been so much fun watching you grow in your musical gifts through the years ~ and seeing your hearts grow deeper in love with Jesus. I can remember your dad smiling from ear to ear as he talked about the two of you singing ~ I think it was more like bragging ~ and parents are entitled to bragging rights you know! I know he is smiling now with Jesus as he hears your “angelic” voices throughout the heavens! And your mom was equally as proud to give me the CD you made a few years back ~ it was one of my favorite gifts then ….. and yet look how far you’ve come! Wishing you an Overflowing Abundance of God’s Blessings with your music!

Wow! Congrats to them both, what a honor….I will be waiting for the green light…one hand dialing and one hand emailing!
