This board says what most Christians have been afraid to say. People have stoped saying Merry Christmas because they don’t want to offend others but what about all the Christians that we are offending by not wishing them a Merry Christmas. I’ve worked in retail many years and was always told we could only say happy holidays and nothing else. I now work for bed bath and beyond who allow their associates to say whatever they want. This Christmas season it’s been amazing to see the response I’ve had when I wish our customers a Merry Christmas. Almost every customer has responded with a grateful smile, and a thank you. Some have even thanked me for not saying happy holidays. If it wasn’t for Christ then Christmas would be just another day of the year. It’s time we all put Christ back into Christmas!

It is amazing to see the relief on the faces of sales associates when I tell them Merry Christmas as it gives them “license” to say it in return. Unfortunately, the rules they have to play under restrict their personal feelings and desires.

Yesterday in my classroom at an area public school one of my students asked me if our class was going to have a Christmas party. I simply said we were having a holiday party in which we would celebrate with several Christmas activiites. They were so happy to hear that.

Unfortunately, too many people have bought a lie, which I refuse to. We, as Christians, need to proclaim the TRUTH. He is the only way people will know the truth and be set free.
