Pictures from Christmas Eve

CIMG0015As I said yesterday, this past weekend was certainly right up there with the greatest celebrations I’ve ever experienced at a church!—any church! Sure, it ended up taking 14 services to pull it off, but was it worth it?

You bet!

More people came through the doors than ever before—over 3500!! And more people gave their lives to Jesus than at any other time in the history of our church. You ready for this?

175!

Can you believe it?! I said, 175 people came to Christ during this Christmas weekend! That’s the best present I’ve ever been a part of!! And this was my favorite year ever in ministry as nearly 1100 people were added to God’s family through the ministry of Southbrook church!

Gang, that’s more than the past 7 years combined!

And with that I must say, goodnight.’

I’ve hit something.

I think they call it, ‘the wall.’

Merry Christmas! And thanks to everyone who helped pull off this awesome time for God!

Jay Foreman just sent me some pictures from Christmas Eve…Oh, and a video of people who came to Christ at the 8:30 service!

Enjoy!

Merry Christmas Pastor Rob! Our family is rejoicing and praying for our new brothers and sisters in Christ! We can’t wait to see how God will use all of us at Southbrook to reach out to the lost and new Christ followers in 2008!

It was such a great weekend to welcome so many more people into God’s family. And thanks for the warning on Sunday that the Christmas Eve service would be a tear jerker. I was able to come prepared! And as hard as this Christmas was for me, it helped being reminded that Adam was really home for Christmas, and that so many others will now get to one day really be home for Christmas too.

Pastor Rob,

Just read the post about this past weekend, and all I can say is praise God. I just wish I could have been there to see all those people coming to Jesus. What a year for Southbrook! But I also know that you have paid a price this year physically and emotionally, so turn off all gadgets and lay around the house enjoying sleep and football and your wife and children, and don’t do anything for at least 4 more days. That is a word directly from God.

Pastor Rob,

Pretty inspirational to see what God is using Southbrook for in this incredible city. I love your heart and commitment to those who don’t know Christ yet. Thanks for what you do. Thanks for the example.
