Expelled: Kicking Intelligence Out of Our Schools
This new film is causing quite a stir as it looks at the anti intelligent design (another name for, “Life by random stupidity”) school and the lunacy of protecting at all costs the scientific status quo…
It stars Ferris Bueller’s teacher from, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off—”Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?”
That ring a bell?
Well, this guy (Ben Stein) was that teacher, but he is also a writer, public speaker, gutsy debater, and political activist. Recently, he became deeply involved in a film project that challenges the neo-Darwinian scientific community and exposes their hostility to intelligent design and all those who believe in it. The producers of Renewing Your Mind caught up with Mr. Stein during a preview of his new film entitled Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. The movie opens nationwide April 18.
Now, before I say another word about this movie, let me first make a prediction. And I’ll hold myself to the Old Testament standard for prophets on this one (death by stoning if you get even one prophecy wrong). That’s how confident I am. So go ahead and gather your rocks, but you won’t be using them on me. No, the critics are too busy wasting all there ammo on the movie. Saying things like:
Where are the facts? Ben Stein is a horrible, boring, manipulative little man! <— Not sure where this fits in a “critique” of the movie. The film is slammed for it’s supposedly poor production, it’s shrouded attempt at forcing religion on us all (help me, please, the nuns are trying to hurt me!), it’s lack of facts, it’s peer pressure approach, the target audience, etc. Which, taken as a whole, makes this movie…
An Inconvenient Truth (pun intended) and,
Well, the Darwinist’s typical approach.
Now I remember where I’ve seen that. In short, there seems to be an almost panicky attempt to discredit this film with bullying and condescension and rolling out the all out blogging blitz! Critics seem to be afraid that this will drain away their brain-washed, Kool-aid drinking audience and, thus, their funding for supposed “research.”
I have a sollution. Maybe they should do a fund-raiser. Perhaps something like, “Bowling for Columbine.”
Just a thought.
I think Shakespeare might have described this bizarre behavior best in his play, Hamlet, act III, when the queen said, “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
Just makes me want to see this film all the more.
You won’t want to miss this one!

As with all good movies this biast slam by the media is only a good thing. And I’m sure if you were to talk to Ben Stein himself, he’d be fired up about the ‘negative publicity’ that this film is creating. Although by looking at his face you wouldn’t know it!
This movie will probably be one of the biggest movies of the year, without secular media hype. Let’s not count on the secular media to push a conservative Christian point of view…that’s our job to do. Most of the secular media has a liberal bent and they know it and aren’t even ashamed of it anymore. Why are we so surprised by that?
Let’s spend our time promoting the movie and the good that can come from it and not upset at the media for attacking it. Wasted energy and time for all of us.

Fellas;
Do we really expect the biased media to ‘promote’ a film that would lean towards conservative christian thinking? Why are you so enamoured by their lack of support? Who cares what they think…most, not all, of the media have proven time and time again that they don’t care about giving both sides of the story. They are only interested in giving us the side of the story that they want us to know.
I am almost certain (not Old Testatment prophet certain, but close) that Ben Stein is giddy that the media is attacking this film (although you wouldn’t be able to tell from his stoic face)…it only lends credibility that the film is dead on.
Let’s spend our energy promoting it here and getting everyone that we can to go and see it. Let’s even invite Ben Stein to come to our church with an advance screening and then have a Q & A time with whomever, to talk about it. Now that is something to get excited about.
Get fired up!!

I read about this movie on the family.org site and will be seeing it.
I’m already reading how it’s not being taken seriously and getting bad reviews because it’s biased. Funny….Fahrenheit 911 and An Inconvenient Truth were biased but the media loved them.
Anyway, if you want to see a synopsis of how this movie is being trashed, check out this popular movie review site:
